Bilingual Kindergarten Information Night
set for March 11
Parents are invited to learn about District 54’s bilingual services for kindergarten students during an informational meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, in the Keller Junior High School.

District 54 wins Bright Red Apple Award
District 54 has once again received the Bright Red Apple Award from SchoolSearch.

Nine District 54 schools
qualified for Illinois Honor Roll

 Dirksen, Dooley, Fairview, Frost, Hale, Hoover, Lincoln Prairie, Nerge and Stevenson received Academic Excellence Awards in 2009.

District 54 receives Meritorious Budget Award

For the 12th year in a row, District 54 has received a Meritorious Budget Award from the Association of School Business Officials International.

Students advance to state,
national PTA Reflections program
Eighteen District 54 students advanced
to the state PTA writing and fine arts competition
and one advanced to national.
